About

Throughout life, I have heard people talk of peace that they feel while visiting the mountains. I have had the privilege of not only growing up experiencing this, but also, being able to return to the mountains as I grew older.  The mountains really are a magical place with beauty, innocence, and a peace that is hard to find.

One of the reasons that I believe the mountains have such a peace is because of the people in them and the faith that those people have.  Sitting in church, one morning, I heard the preacher tell a story about families during World War 2, walking and praying for their loved ones in battle and the nation.  They were dedicated and unashamed, praying out loud in total belief that God would hear them.  I believe God heard their prayers and brought this nation the victory and the blessings that they still have today.

Just like with those families, I believe that God is still answering prayers.  He is still on the throne and still bringing

victory to His people.  I believe it is a time, as important as ever, that people call out to Him in prayer for protection and victory just as the families in the story did.

This website was created as a place for people to make prayer requests, share praise reports, testimonies, and concerns to a community of believers who believe that prayer works.  All of this will be included, as well as short messages of encouragement and inspiration, along with photos taken within the mountains we call home.

The prayer requests will be lifted up by the writers and authors of this website with a respect for anonymity.  The individuals praying, stand on the Word of God and believe that their prayers reach heaven and bring change.  They believe James 5:16 that says, “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

We believe that during the trials of everyday life, we need God for everything.  We believe that for healing, salvation, protection, and the power to make it through the day we need God.  2nd Chronicles 7:14 tells us, “ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” We believe that if we do our part, God will keep His promises and heal our lands.

We, also, believe that to have true Peace we need Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.  Peace in any storm can come through Jesus, including any storm that you may be in today.  It is time for everyone to call out to Him and experience His peace, the true PEACE ON THE MOUNTAIN.
